How it works.
Enter barcode or ISBN number
If you can find a barcode (similar to the barcode you or a cashier might scan at a checkout at the grocery store) there is a number under the barcode. Please provide us that number. And/or, please provide us the book’s ISBN number. You will often find this number on one of the first pages inside the cover. Many times it is preceded by the numbers “978”. The ISBN is usually 10 digits (not counting “978” if that precedes the number). This information will allow us to correctly identify the book and the edition of the book you are trying to sell so that we can make our most generous offer to you for your book!

Valuation
As soon as you provide us with the necessary information – barcode and/or ISBN number, book title and your estimate of the book’s condition (scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being like new and 1 being in rough shape with bent or damaged pages/covers/etc.) – we will respond within 48 hours with our offer for your book. If you find the offer acceptable we will move to the process of you delivering your book to us and us making our payment to you!
Send us your items for free
Once you have informed us that you accept the offer we have made for your book, we will arrange for its free delivery to us. If you happen to be located in Central or Northern Wisconsin or in North Central Florida, we may choose to arrange to pick up your book(s) at your location. Otherwise we will provide you a shipping label for a shipment for which we have paid. Simply box up your book(s), apply the shipping label we have provided you and drop the package off with the carrier (UPS, FedEx or USPS) we have indicated. Provide us the tracking number once this is done and we will promptly make the agreed payment to you!
Get paid!
At the time we pick up your book or upon you providing us with the tracking number for the shipment we will pay you. We can offer you payment by Venmo or Zelle if you are set up to receive payment that way. If you prefer to use PayPal you can send us a request for funds and we will promptly pay you that way. If none of those options work for you, provide us with your name and address and we will send you a check in the mail.

What condition do my books need to be in?
We will purchase books in any condition, although you will receive better value for books that are in better condition. Put yourself in the shoes of someone who is ultimately interested in purchasing your book – if it is in great condition you don’t mind paying top dollar for it. But if it is in poor condition – bent or ripped cover or pages, a lot of writing and notes in the book, etc. – you might still be interested in purchasing the book but you are not willing to pay as much for it. So while we will purchase books in any condition, this describes how your book’s condition impacts how much we will be willing to pay for it.
